shrink sleeve label

the heat shrinkable sleeve label can be of pvc, ops or pet depending on usage. when heat is applied to this material it shrinks to fit the contours of the container. shrink sleeves offer rich color shades and perfect design possibilities to make your product unique and most recognizable.

PVC : poly vinyl chloride

PVC are the cheapest and most commonly available shrink film used for labels. cast PVC used at taurus are available from 30 to 50 micron as per the requirement.

PVC gives 360° design coverage for any container contour. it can be combined with tamper-evident protection with notch cut (neck sleeves) and available with hot melt adhesives or special adhesive coating for semi conical cups (cup noodles, dahi etc.)

OPS : oriented poly styrene

OPS is commonly used in the far eastern countries. taurus was the first company in india to produce ops labels. it has high shrinkage ratio than pvc (70% in TD)

PET-G : polyethylene terephtalate glycol

PET-G is environment friendly considering that it can be recycled easily with pet bottles without removing the labels as in the case of PVC. it has very high shrinkage of 75-78% in MD making it ideal for full bottle/container coverage. it makes the bottle highly aesthetic and pulls the customer towards the fully printed container instantly.

PLA : poly lactic acid

PLA is made from starch obtained from corn or sugarcane. it has got all the advantages of PETG along with the fact that it is 100% biodegradable in controlled decompost conditions. absolutely recommended for full body coverage and ecologically correct reasons.
